Skating at Millenium Park

Our favorite thing to do on the weekend is to ride the bus downtown and go ice skating at Millenium Park. It's a gorgeous park nestled among the downtown skyscrapers. The best part is that it's free! La has picked up on the whole skating thing with great ease. I see a future of figure skating for that little munchkin!

Children's Museum

We've only been to one museum since we moved here, The Kohl Children's Museum. My company sponsors an exhibit there, so we got tickets for a free preview of the Clifford Exhibit. We met one of my coworkers and her two boys, and we had a great time. Even the "adults" had fun there. They have a stage where you can dress up and perform in front of a screen, there's a water room where kids can make different sounds with water, and even a real grocery store with a checkout line and everything.

Our New Home

Well, we've done it. We've up and moved to Chicago ... and we are loving it so far. It's amazing that we've already been here for over 3 months. La, Bro and I have settled into our new place, and it feels like home. La loves her school, and Bro is adjusting to the big city life. My job is going very well. Our new condo is in the greatest location; Just a short walk from the lake, the zoo and fantastic shopping. There's so much to do here! We miss everyone in Cleveland, but we will be visiting frequently.
