Dress Up and Show Up !

Isaac Perika

As the year end approaches , weekends become long and eventful with a whole bunch of things to do , people to meet and places to go . Most of us cling to our BFFs to scurry through malls , boutiques and closets till we find the perfect outfits . For our first blog we decided to pick out our favourite pieces for some of the more subtle occasions of this party season .

Sunday Brunch

Brunch” is said to have originated from early church-goers who would sit down for a mid-day meal after Sunday mass, it has since evolved into a social meal, a lively event that is perfect to cap off the crazy weekend all over the world. For this look, we’ve opted a neutral toned maxi dress with a little pizzazz!

The sweet-heart neckline and minimal rustic geometric patterns add just the glint of sparkle a lady needs to take that brunch into a sundowner 😉 Very effortless and comfortable for the tipsier half of the afternoon . We’ve paired it up here with a matching metallic sling which can also be carried as a clutch along with nude pumps to accentuate the neutral colour play on this sophisticated outfit.

Date Night

This one is for all the beautiful women out there looking to sizzle ‘date night’ be it your first one or 500th .

A very special dress we designed together with friend and designer Pragyan Stitha  , for our second look we present another shade of nude in this fabulous and flirty salmon-toned A-lined dress . The nude colour palate does very well to highlight your skin colour as the ever classy empire waistline emphasises body’s natural curves on this beautiful piece.

Paired with two toned pumps from Aldo and an oversized flower brooch adds an element of romance to your evening . Be it a candle-lit meal for two or a ‘don’t need no man’ drinks with girlfriends ,this outfit is sure to turn some heads. So carry yourself with poise and get ready to break some hearts!

Casual evenings

Living the urban life , most of us prefer to meet friends over drinks or dinner after a taxing day of work but there’s always that one friend who only agrees to catch up over a coffee .For this casual look we put together a comfortable yet chic denim mini dress with the trending bell sleeves and off shoulder neckline from .

Its interesting that off shoulder also known as the Bardot neck is named after the famous actress of the sixties Brigitte Bardot who was the first to carry it off until it came back with a bang last season . The empire waist tied together with a faux rope adds a nautical aspect to the denim dress.

Lately its been all about sneakers as comfort overtakes couture in millennial fashion ,sneakers in this look follow the trend yet the lace adds femininity in contrast to everyday wear . The bucket bag from Gucci speaks for itself as it completes this smart outdoor look.

Dressy nights

Last and in no way the least we have a refined , graceful party wear look keeping in mind the girl inside each of us . A black coloured sweet heart , strapless Bell dress from Sherry Hill with a dash of crimson and pink paired with yet another pair of two toned pumps from Aldo , lets face it stilettos are the original six inches we cannot live without ! A blend of fun and formal , this dress is perfect for a stylish night out sipping cocktails and letting your hair down . Since there is always room for some dancing and excitement ,we decided to keep it simple and let the dress and your dance moves do all the talking .

For this blog we wanted to channel femininity through our personal style and dedicate it to all the beautiful ladies who have brought change to the world and inspire us to follow their lead ! We each posses tremendous power to make a difference and to do that somedays you must put a pin on those doubts and simply dress up & show up !

Until the next blog ,

Stand tall and slay !

Love .
